Yashashri Masurkar is an Indian television actress. She played the female protagonist, Khanak in STAR One show Rang Badalti Odhani . She is currently seen essaying the role of Princess Mrignayani in the Imagine TV show Chandragupta Maurya. She was noted for shows such as LaxmanResha.
Currently, she can be seen on Imagine TV's show Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan, Season 3.
Yashashri is a very simple girl who always dreamed of pursuing a career in acting. She has always been good at drawing and writing ever since her school days. Yashashri has always been a sporty ever since her school days and was always active in participating in sports events like Kabaddi and Relay Races.
She has always enjoyed Art, be it any form of it and was always good at academics. She started earning when she was in class 8th by taking private tuition classes.She has worked as an assistant in a pharmacy. She graduated to work at a pathology lab and then at a domestic call center. After that, Yashashri worked for All India Radio as an Announcer. Later she worked at a call center for some time before participating in a beauty pageant called "Shravan Queen 2009" organised by Times of India group. She came as the 2nd runner up title. She quit her job in the call center to purse a career in Media.
Yashashri got a call for an audition of a Marathi serial. She gave the auditions and got selected for the role. After a successful stint in Marathi Television, she got a call from Swapna Waghmare-Joshi and Yash Patnaik who called her to audition for their show Rang Badalti Odhani on Star One. She cleared the auditions and bagged the lead role of Khanak in Rang Badalti Odhani on Star One which brought her a lot of fame and accolades to her.
Her second show had her playing the role of Princess Mrignayani in the Imagine TV's historical show Chandragupta Maurya. She opted out of the show due to lack of screen space in this male dominated historical show.
Currently she's is a part of Imagine TV's popular dance reality show Nach Le Ve with Saroj Khan (Season 3)..
